No infantry, no CAS challenge No infantry means no infantry (including mech/motorized), irregulars, special forces, or anything that has battalions of men walking on the ground to shoot rifles at each other in a template. That means arty, cav, support companies and other such things are OK. Cavalry are firing rifles, but are presumably fighting while on horseback, so they're just combat vehicles that are made of meat instead of metal. Artillery/support companies/etc are men on the ground, but aren't shooting a rifle at anyone. No CAS means no planes except proper fighters and and bombers that aren't ever used in the CAS role.

Well you can't really expect historical approaches to work with a system that's not historical. Besides the mod still not being historically accurate (even if it is _a lot_ better than Paradox' meme-based history), the simple fact is that mechanically it is still HoI4, not real life. It still requires the approaches of a game.

How are all of your games so hard in this mod? No matter who i watch they just get crushed, but when i play Germany on expert ai I absolutely steamroll the allies. Barbarossa is usually done within 3 months, i even give them crazy buffs like +20 atk and def, i even give russia cores on their new lands. The ai just isnt as expert for me for some reason (On impossible difficulty)

Why don't you do AA only (anti-air only) and yes that does include the support division AA but that's it just anti-air in all of your divisions and that's it.

Also, the Soviets attack Iran through a focus which also gives them a decision to call in the British. If the Soviet AI completes the focus but doesn't have enough PP for the decision, they just invade on their own and effectively lock the British player out of that entire conflict. It's annoying as fuck.

British/Commonwealth armour units follow cavalry traditions, where a brigade is equivalent to a regiment, a squadron is equivalent to a battalion, a troop is equivalent to a company/platoon (it doesn't map exactly 1:1), and a patrol is equivalent to a section. Hope this helps.

This mod just suck, don't forget that, it's not really a simulation while it's totally not balanced. Gaining new techs and new kind of gameplay doesn't mean all for this mod that is just mid.
